Very Imortant aNd Urgent MEssage

So I have been on retreat in California, composing works for my next project, and I am sorry I have been out of touch, but I just got this email from my friend the Reverend Ivan Stang of the Church of the Subgenius, and I thought I would share:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear American
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I need to ask you to support an urgent secret business relationship
with a transfer of funds of great magnitude.

I am Ministry of the Treasury of the Republic of America. My country
has had crisis that has caused the need for large transfer of funds of
800 billion dollars US. If you would assist me in this transfer, it
would be most profitable to you.

I am working with Mr. Phil Gramm, lobbyist for UBS, who will be my
replacement as Ministry of the Treasury in January. As a Senator, you
may know him as the leader of the American banking deregulation
movement in the 1990s. This transaction is 100% safe.

This is a matter of great urgency. We need a blank check. We need the
funds as quickly as possible. We cannot directly transfer these funds
in the names of our close friends because we are constantly under
surveillance. My family lawyer advised me that I should look for a
reliable and trustworthy person who will act as a next of kin so the
funds can be transferred.

Please reply with all of your bank account, IRA and college fund
account numbers and those of your children and grandchildren to
wallstreetbail...@treasury.gov so that we may transfer your commission
for this transaction. After I receive that information, I will respond
with detailed information about safeguards that will be used to
protect the funds.

Yours Faithfully,

Minister of Treasury Paulson

On this grey , grey morning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania , I write to

own personal sun of inspiration and faith. I am so excited about my

attend and for those out of town, I have recently uploaded a brand new
track to my myspace page that I hope you will enjoy and send me some
feedback on it.

Come on out Thursday October 2, 2008 to see me sing some of my newest

from Philadelphia, PA, Ginger Leigh and Lulu Lollipop!! Brother
Strawberry will be on hand twisting dirty party balloons. Showtime

This is my last local Pittsburgh appearance til late November, then I
am off to Californee!! For those of you who came to the NYC shows,
yinz rawk n'at!!! We had a good time, didn't we???? Don't worry, we
shall do it again as soon as we can, I do love NYC, I mean, it's not
Pittsburgh, but then, like my Rabbi said about the Christians, no
one's perfect....

And again, if you can't make it, it's cool, I know you would if you
could, but please do check the one new track I uploaded to my myspace
page, it is called "Mr Fix It Man". Since making new friends with
those crazy artists in Windber @ Grand Midway Haunted Hotel and their
electric shock of generous inspiration helped me write 15 new songs
over the last month or so and I recorded 11 of them with Mike Murray
(on rhodes) and Tony DePaolis (on bass) at Church Recording Studios
with Dana Cannone last Thursday. I am still definitely work shopping
the tunes, they are not ready for general release, but I do want some
feedback from my friends and this is one of my favorites.....

Keep me informed of your own events, if I can't be there, know I wish
I could, and when I can I will attend.
Stay warm and dry, and don't fret over the economy overly much, we
have each other, and we still have our songs. Whatever happens, let us
have faith in a brighter tomorrow and may we be thankful for what we
do have and pray that those in the world who are not so fortunate, let
us work so that they may know peace and a full belly sooner rather
than later.

Happy New Year everybody!! Eat some apples and honey for me Schmosie!
